One of the oldest names in first-person shooting is making a comeback. Again.

On Tuesday, Bethesda Softworks announced that Wolfenstein: The New Order is coming to consoles (current and next-gen) and PC later this year.

As reported on The Consumerist, the saga began when journalist Josh Stearns noticed a curious set of LEGO construction worker stickers while shopping for his son. The problem? That would be the creepy, catcalling construction worker labeled “Hey Babe!”

First uncaged back in 2007, the musically-gifted kitty remains one of the web’s biggest viral hits. But to the owner of the feline sensation’s trademark and copyright, you don’t get to play with “Fatso” for free.

Charles Schmidt is suing Warner Bros. Interactive and game developer 5^th Cell for including Keyboard Cat in the ‘Scribblenauts’ game series without permission, reports Gamasutra. He’s joined in his suit by Christopher Orlando Torres, the owner of fellow cat meme “Nyan Cat,” who also alleges the game used his cash-kitty illegally.

On Wednesday, the company announced Call of Duty: Ghosts, the tenth official game in the billion-dollar shooter series. Set for release on November 5, the game will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC as well as next-generation systems.

Rockstar Games has released a batch of trailers focusing on the upcoming blockbuster's troublemaking trio of playable characters.

Greenheart Games, creators of the simulation Game Dev Tycoon, assumed that their new title would wind up on torrent sites as yet another illegal download. Rather than try to avoid this fate, they instead intentionally uploaded a ‘pirated’ copy of the game to torrent sites just as the legit version (available for Windows, Mac and Linux) was going live on their own storefront.

In a battle of all-time running backs, Hall of Famer Barry Sanders outran league MVP Adrian Peterson to land the cover of Madden 25. Announced late Wednesday on ESPN 2’s SportsNation, Sanders nabbed 58 percent of the fan vote -- over 700,000 votes -- to take home the win.

That’s the date Microsoft will finally unveil its long-awaited follow-up to the Xbox 360. The event, sent out to members of the press Wednesday, will take place at the company’s HQ in Redmond, Washington at 10:00 am PST, though it will also be streamed live on Xbox Live, xbox.com and Spike TV.

“We are thrilled to pull back the curtain and reveal what we’ve been working on,” said Microsoft spokesperson Major Nelson in an otherwise uninformative blog post.
