Rightfully considered the best superhero game ever made, 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum was a Dark Knight fan's dream come true. With riveting combat, gorgeous delivery, amazing sound and a memorable plot, how could it be topped?
By ripping the top off completely, apparently.
A huge, open-ended world just one of many awesome things you'll notice in the newly released first gameplay trailer for the heavily-anticipated Batman: Arkham City. Other things you'll notice? Batman flinging himself into the air with ziplines, using his cape to soar over the chaotic streets of a villain-plagued Gotham, spotting trouble with his improved Detective mode, bumming a ride on a helicopter, and laying the smackdown on ne'er do wells like, well, Batman:
