    • Minecraft-themed wedding shows the building blocks of love

      by Michael Krumboltz, Yahoo! BuzzLog

Seen one wedding, seen 'em all, right? Wrong. Matt Dunn and Asia Ramirez recently tied the knot at their Minecraft-themed wedding.

The wedding and reception were lovingly captured by Sacramento photographers Lisa and Geoff Bardot of the Goodness. While themed weddings are nothing new, we think it's safe to say Matt and Asia took theirs to a whole other level. There were Minecraft-style block figures of ducks, dogs, and more. Asia wore a "diamond necklace" inspired by the bricktacular game. Similarly, the groom's tie was inspired by Minecraft. The party was a team effort. Friends helped to paint the 100+ cardboard boxes used for trees and a cave.

However, if you know which games to play -- and a few how-to tricks -- you can up your odds significantly. This year, strike back against crooked carnies and fill your car to the very brim with plush prizes by beating them at their own game.

Batman and Fidel Castro? Indonesian photographer Agan Harahap gets familiar with the stories behind iconic historic photos, then adds superheroes (and the occasional villain) for a new twist.

      By Leslie Katz, CNET

Yalta Conference, 1945: Winston Churchill, check. Franklin D. Roosevelt, check. Josef Stalin, check. Darth Vader... wait, what? Yep, that's the Dark Lord himself hovering behind the "Big Three" at the historic summit to discuss post-war Europe.

He's there courtesy of Agan Harahap, a professional photographer and avowed history buff who photoshops superheroes (and a few villains) into famous historical photos -- to strange and sometimes ironic effect.

    • Marvel turns hearing-impaired boy into a superhero

When 4-year-old comic book fan Anthony Smith stubbornly refused to wear his hearing aid, his mother decided to bring out the big guns.

Born with no right ear and partial hearing loss in his left, the Salem, MA boy refers to his hearing device as 'blue ear' -- and while it's helped him immeasurably, Anthony suddenly decided that since superheroes didn't use hearing aids, neither would he.

That prompted his mother, Christina D'Allesandro, to email Marvel comics in a desperate attempt to prove to her son that superheroes were, in fact, just like him.
