If you have all your players home, and the computer doesn't, and the computer rolls 4 doubles in a row to go from being behind, to winning the game, what would YOU have done to stop it, since all of your pieces were already in home, and there was no way to stop the computer from advancing over and over and getting 4 doubles in a row.
Enlighten us, Einstein. You say I don't know how to play, fine. Show us all.
In the situation I just described, how would YOU win that game????
Since it's impossible to do, I await your response ever so eagerly.0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I have played a lot of back gammon and have never seen so many perfect rolls by the "opposition". To many doubles, to many perfect moves. Will not play on this site again0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

When I played with my late husband I could swear the rules were when getting all men in your home spaces...you could only go in on the spaces numbers..meaning if I rolled a 6 and 5, but my men were on space 1 and 3 we could not move a man home. Or if you rolled doubles while waiting to put your men home and they were more moves than you had men or not enough moves you could not move. Grant it, I like it this way better...but there really is no challenge in that. AND I did beat the computer twice in a row! :)0 of 0 people found this review helpful-
the game is what it is

Well. This backgammon game is what it is. First off, as everyone in this comment section has said, the roller comes up with an inordinant number of doubles for itself. But I have also rolled an uncanny number of doubles also. The game play level of the computer, though, is at an elementary level. So it appears that the developers, unable to create/afford a higher level of game play for the computer have decided to compensate by giving it a more perfect set of rolls. This kind of evens out the playing field for an average backgammon player. My run of game statistics so far is 14 wins and 3 losses. Even though the computer will get a silly number of doubles and perfect rolls for itself, it doesn't understand how to apply the moves. It always goes for getting all of its men to the final 5 slots at the sacrifice of the 2 pieces farthest away, which are fairly easily trapped with smart game play. Even though the computer does appear to doctor the rolls for sheer numbers of moves, it doesn't appear to do the same for game strategy.0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

If you can't beat this computer, you should find a different game to play. The computer never tries to trap you. Trap the computer so he can't move and let him roll all the doubles he wants.0 of 0 people found this review helpful
