Castle Defense

i loved this game but it has stopped working, even refuses to load andthats a shame. its such a funny little thing to play and yes, very addicting. But if wont even load I cant play it and that means it gets one star. Drat.

game is good until it freezes, which is often.

wish you could upgrade weapons

The music really sets the mood. While I have cleared all 10 levels (my high score is 32,150), I've yet to master the game. For me, the rapid, long range guns are a mystery. I can't figure out how they help. The heavy barrel seems to struggle when there's a lot of traffic. Simplifying it's target (at the expense of range) may be more productive. I tend to load up closer to the castle, so that the speedy rockets (which all the weaponry struggles against) are exposed for a longer period of time. That's key! You let the slower tanks pass and add your heavy barrels to take out those rockets... when they're cleared you rush back to defend the castle against the slower moving targets. Sell stuff if you have to, whatever it takes to add the hardware you need to clinch the deal.

I didn't like it at first, but when I realized that I didn't have to wait til the end of the round to buy tanks I was addicted. Every time I hit $200 or higher I buy a new tank and it helps. BUT... the red and yellow tanks in level 3 are almost impossible - I think the most I've ever hit was 1.

All about strategy and planning. The longer you play the more methods you can devise to beat the game. It took me a long while to beat level 1 and then even longer to get past level 3...but after eventually beating the whole 10 levels the game became more fun as I have been trying many different possibilities. I'd love a competition where different methods could be shared. Anyway, I hope they make more levels!
