Sneaky Cubis Upgrade
By Linda on

Right along with everyone else, I've been continually annoyed with those cursed ads slowing down or totally interrupting my game play.
For the most part, I've been going to other game sites and just checking back on Yahoo to see if they've bothered listening to everyone here and fixing the problem with the ads.
So far, Yahoo has turned a deaf ear to us.
When I do come on Yahoo for Cubis now, I've been using Google Chrome Incognito windows which, while not totally solving the problem, do minimize it.
One thing Yahoo & the businesses/products behind these ads should know is that if you #$%$ me off sufficiently, which you have with these ads, you'll sell me nothing because all my associations with your product or service will be negative and I'll not willingly spend on penny on your service or product but will seek out a competitor.
I just popped back to Cubis before dinner, finished a game & came back after the meal. And...
I damn near wound-up upgrading to Cubis Gold because game pane that I'd left that would have brought me to a new game had somewhere while I was gone, been switched to an almos identical pane but clicking would have upgraded me.
I had to close out and re enter into Games/Cubis to get rid of the upgrade pane.
Just one more stupid thing Yahoo is doing to drive people away.0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I have been playing this game for about 16 years. It has been impossible to play it now since they have changed it. I have been a member of yahoo for about 20 years. ready to change. Everthing has change so much that it not as easy as before to navigate.0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Also a long-time player, I have been using Firefox with the Adblock Plus plug-in, and I don't see any of the problems reviewed here about the ads. A bit lazy to test this myself (i.e, experiment with other configurations); just hope my experience can help.0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I believe yahoo has become as greedy as the next..... So many ads all over this website, its becoming way over expensive in downloads. I for one am seriously thinking that I shall make google my home page. Wonder why? go check it out, fast home page load, no mess. NO POP UPS either0 of 0 people found this review helpful-
