i like to play and win chess n other games

On the deep level it plays about as well as the average 4 year old.

Most opening theory says play to control the center. In our 7 move game Flash played R pawn advances on moves 1 & 2. vs. my e4 and d4. He moved his Q Knight 4 times, the last capturing my rook in the corner rather than delaying mate. A fraidy cat kid would be a tougher challenge, and the graphics suck, why not white & black rather than blue pieces? I mated the thing before castling became possible, but if it won't allow it, the program does a disservice to beginners. I bought one of Fidelity's first dedicated chess computers ca. 1978, awful as it was, it played better and was more fun. In fairness, Flashchess is appropriately priced.

The pieces are hard to keep track of, you often have to look at the game history to see what move the computer made (and the game history isn't even kept in proper algebraic notation), and 'en passant' is not programmed into the game.
