need neighbors

ok gamers, have spent the better part of today adding 'neighbors' to my e-mail address book & messenger. Seems messenger has to be AVAILABLE too, to work.
Have accepted contacts into my messenger.
have accepted neighbors thru e-mail too, done the app and all the jazz.
Still NO friends appear in the game.
Just now I posted a pie for trade to see if it even sends out notifications... it said it did, but honestly have no idea to whom as no friends show on the game page.
Details of what I have done are in this review to let everyone know we seem to have tried everything possible w/o success.
It would be wonderful if anyone from YAHOO or the GAME people were to bother to read the reviews to check out what the problem might be and guide us.
If anyone has any success with this, please share. I love the game but am getting terribly frustrated.

Adding Friends

You need to install Yahoo Messenger and add people to it. Once you do that they'll show up when you "Add Friend" in GR. The game is using your Messenger Friend list NOT your email contact list. Hope this helps people.0 of 0 people found this review helpful

Yay i finally have a neighbor!! you need to download yahoo messanger if you dont have it. then add contact and add me butterfly_candy_2001@yahoo.com....you have to write gorment ranch in the subject otherwise i wont add you. i play everyday.0 of 0 people found this review helpful
