Misses: it hurts my eyes

Hits: Pretty fun. Reminiscent of old arcade stuff. Decent music that fits with the game. Being able to use the arrow keys is a big plus.

Misses: Hard to tell what youre looking at sometimes, especially when the screen gets full of pixels and enemies.

Hits: It's intense, fast paced, and you never meet the same enemy order twice, and it looks awesome.

Misses: Tricky to collect pixels in later levels, and upgrades are somewhat harder to possess at later levels as well.

The Full Report: I just played the game "Pixel Purge", and let me just say, it was pretty impressive. Lets review!

Lets start with the good stuff. First off, he difficulty curve is just quick enough to keep the game interesting, and the awesome visuals follow along. The sound is great, as if the noises and the retro sounds were coming from all angles, and the controls are easy to learn and great for blasting the enemies quickly, followed by the games addictiveness.
Now lets go onto to the bad. The worst (which is not all that bad) is that until you get the magnet upgrade, pixels are tough to collect, especially at later levels (15 and up). Another is a glitch(?), as the "Vessel" type enemy doesn't seem to rack up kills. And the upgrades come a little slow, along with the fact that space bar is clumsy to pull up skills in the heat of battle.

Over all, the game is perfect in every way, and is a perfect "all day play" kind of game.

Hits: I think it is a good game to help with hand-eye coordination.

Misses: If you're a lousy shooter, don't play this game...
