Text Twist 2

I liked this game until it told me that "hornet(s)" and "throne(s)" wasn't in the dictionary...what?!

It is very frustrating to come up with a legitimate word that uses all letters only to be told the word is wrong or not in the library. Shouldn't be that hard to have the game recognize more than one word that uses all letters. Seems to contradict the point of the game.

I enjoy playing this games to enhance my vocabulary and to pass the time.

Loved old version this one sucks. Not only is it not recognizing Canadian spellings (I could live with that) as others have said alot of legit words just aren't there. Also, the point of trying to use all the letters is to find one word that uses all letters. Two words don't count - so FATBIRD IS NOT A WORD. Really bad, annoying version of what was a great game. Shame

I LOVED Text Twist 1! I wish I could find it, because the f'd up dictionary in TT2 is about to drive me crazy. So many words aren't in there, many OBSCURE words are, and some of its compound words are ridiculous. Often you'll see a word show up in the plural and not in the singular, and vice-versa. I wish Yahoo would take the hint, but I doubt that anyone is monitoring the comments. Last year they had a news story about Amy Winehouse canceling part of her tour months after she died - hundreds of people commented on it, to no avail. I've used Yahoo a long time, but they're not very responsive to their readers/players.

Fun game, but there are too many words (as others said) left out of the "dictionary".

Clamp(s), slate(s) = not words according to this game.

Otherwise, good game.

I would have shared my thoughts, but it seems 'shared' is no longer in the dictionary. I guess Yahoo doesn't give a #$%$, people have been complaining for months yet nothing has been done about it. Way to go, Yahoo!!
