The Spinner
Some bones are doubles. They contain the same number on each end. When any double is played it is placed sideways on the board and both ends counting toward the total of the board count.
The spinner is the first double played in a round. Once the Spinner has been played, any player can attach bones to each side. Once the Spinner is played the board will be redrawn with the spinner in the center.
| In this example, the Spinner is the 5/5. Players can now play off all the side of the Spinner. Remember there is only one Spinner in a round, and it is always the first double bone played. Doubles played after the Spinner has been placed cannot be branched off of. |
