Gameplay
In Klondike Solitaire, the cards are stacked in descending order, alternating between red and black. In the game's java window, there is a draw pile at the upper left-hand corner, and a board of seven columns in the lower half of the window. To build your stacks, you may either draw a card from the "draw pile" or move an existing stack of cards. In either case, the cards must be alternate colors and the numbers must descend in order. For example you may play a black 2 on a red 3. A player can draw from the draw pile by clicking on the cards to turn them over. By clicking the "Options" button above the draw pile, you can choose whether to draw one or three cards. The default is three.
The main objective is to clear the board of cards by organizing them, in ascending order, into four suits at the upper right of the java window, starting with the Aces. When you can add a card to the suit stack, you may do so by double-clicking on the card or by clicking once and dragging the card to the location you wish to place it. To place a card or move a stack around on the board, you must click and drag the cards.
