Tornado 21 is a single-player, Blackjack-type card game. Players try to create columns of cards that equal 21. The more times you make 21, the more points you score. With our exciting scoring format you'll be able to instantly compare your score with other players - so keep an eye out for all the hidden bonus points!
There are five columns for you to place cards. To place a card in a specific column, simply click on the column in which you would like it to go. Creating a combination of 21 will clear the column and move the cards to the scoring box on the right-hand side. Each time you clear a column, you gain 21 points. Using two cards to create 21 will net you an extra 10 points. You can also clear a column by stacking five cards that are equal to or less than 21. The score you receive for clearing the column will equal the face value of the cards. So, if you stack five cards that equal 18, you gain 18 points.
As long as you keep clearing the columns with combinations of 21, the game will continue. Each game is played with one deck of cards. If you manage to get through the deck, you will start again with a newly shuffled deck. You will not be allowed to play a card in a column if it would make the total of that column over 21. When you cannot play a card in any columns, the game ends.
Gold Cards and other Bonus Plays
As you play, you'll notice certain "Gold" cards. These will give you bonus points when you clear a column. They can also help in other ways. There are approximately a dozen different bonuses in the game. These range from simple to complex. Some of these bonuses use Gold cards; others do not. However, we'll let you figure out the bonuses for yourself.
