LEGOLAND WINDSOR TOWER -- A neck-wrenching 100 feet tall, this world-record tower was built at Legoland Windsor to celebrate the Lego brand’s 50th anniversary. How? Crowdsourcing, and a crane. Thousands of children each built 8” sections of the tower, and the crane lifted them into place. Windsor’s record would stand for about six months; the current holder is a 102-foot tower in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
