I count 9. The 6 colored in but the violet one is actually 2 so that makes 7 and then there are 2 in the upper right that looks like a mother and cub. That makes 9 and there my be more.

11 but there will be fewer once the drugs wear off.

well 6 for sure that jump out at you, and 3 that look unfinished like the nose coming out of the rock and a couple others that look like partials. could be just a fluke like a find a work puzzle sometimes having words in it that were not planned.
