      Super Stardust is an amazing series, if you have a PS3, definitely check out the demo for "Super Stardust HD"

      Playing some tricks with geometry. It's not possible to cover a sphere with regular hexagons. That's why (normal) soccer balls have some pentagons.

        Really? I thought with that many hexagons maybe it could be done. I didn't know that. Thanks for the additional "wrinkle" on my brain. :)

        There actually is at least one pentagon that I can see on this image. Look at the shapes superimposed over the "blue thing" to the top left of the sphere. One shape is a pentagon with some soccer-ball style hexes surrounding it. They may have hidden enough other hexes to make the sphere work.

      Went back through all four new games. Didn't realize at first what I was really looking at. Looks like some fair new games for the vita.
