Lots of terrific video games came out in 2012.

Though we certainly though they would be. Whether it was due to excellent pre-release demos, great marketing campaigns, or simply high pedigrees, some games raise expectations so high that when the game itself turns out to be flawed or just mediocre, it hurts even worse.

Though we certainly though they would be. Whether it was due to excellent pre-release demos, great marketing campaigns, or simply high pedigrees, some games raise expectations so high that when the game itself turns out to be flawed or just mediocre, it hurts even worse.
Here's a look at this year's most disappointing games. These aren’t necessarily the worst games to come out in 2012 (the Wiiware title Zombii Attack holds that dubious honor), but rather the games that should have been much more fun than they turned out to be.
