      Really some of the most gorgeous views in a video game that I have ever seen. Sometimes I'll stop doing whatever I'm doing and just stare out around me and take in the landscape.

      I've never been into these types of games, but this one is addicting! The only thing I wish is that there were more "positive" adventures to do. No being one of the dark following makes this game a bit frustrating when you get to things like the darkbrotherhood. At one point I just wish there was a way to end the quest and stop being the "listener"... and the thiefs guild also gets old. Where is the "good" quests after you win the main quest lines. Not enough of this side has been added. I hope they mod some good old "Good guy" stuff soon!

      The most fun I've had in a Fantasy RPG since Ultima Underworld. For me, it's been a satisfying and exciting journey.

      One of the best sights in the game is when you're getting the Werewolf ring from the Falkreath quest.

      You enter into this grotto type of place, the sky is clear and it's night time, but there's a massive, blood red, full moon shinning above you. Everything is glowing red. And then you look up and see a Werewolf perched on top of a mountain-like pile of rocks with the blood moon directly behind him.

      Another great sight is when sneaking up on dragons. If the atmosphere is clear enough, you can see them sleeping on top of the Word Walls like statues.

      I have been traveling by foot so that I can view what the landscape looks like. Many of the sights that I have seen are very beautiful & interesting.

      I hate to say it, but as much as we might like the game, the sights are good but not great. Oblivion came out in 2006, is Skyrim really 5+ years better graphically than Oblivion? How do the sights compare to other games? But graphics arent everything.

        You probably have the console version of the game. In the PC version (with a good graphics card), the graphics are truly unbelievable!

        Mandy, it the result of pathetic, underpowered consoles like 360 and PS3 holding back the progression of games. Skyrim should have been a PC exclusive.

        My friend brought his PS3 up and I loaded my oblivion game onto one flat screen tv, and my husband loaded skyrim to the unit we have. graphics look better on skyrim. but some graphics look better on oblivion. can't make our mind up either.

      unfortunately the console versions especially the ps3 version is crap. Visually the game still rocks, but playability: you get slowdowns broken scripts and crashes, the game was a total bomb. That's why I'm curious why this piece of garbage got game of the year.

        Maybe it's your your shittiness rubbing off? I have the 360 version and other than a few glitches I've had no problems at all with the game. And change your name; you'd be the first idiot gone, clearly not the last one standing.

        What's wrong Joey, did I hurt Your feelings? It's just a game and one's opinion. Now, if that infuriates you then how about coming out of your mom and dad's basement for once and getting a life? go find a girlfriend or some friends. But I'm guessing you're some punk #$%$ little boy or at least a grown up who hasn't grown up.
