Pop-culture junkies, beware: Springfield's first family is finally getting the Lego treatment.

On Wednesday, Lego announced plans to release their long-awaited set based on The Simpsons next month. The Lego Simpsons set, which includes a fold-out house and minifigs for Homer, Bart, Marge, Maggie, Lisa, and neighborly neighborino Ned Flanders, goes on sale February 1. It costs $200, which is actually not that bad, considering how much they could have charged for this bad boy.

The details are awesome. The TV set in the family room is permanently showing Itchy and Scratchy. The garage houses the family’s famous pink car. Homer's got a wheelbarrow with Ned's name on it. Lisa’s got a jazz poster on her wall. There’s even a crib for Maggie. Really the only odd bit is the character's eyes -- everyone looks a little drowsy, though to be fair, you'd be tired too after traveling back and forth from Springfield to Denmark.

The initial set’s just the start of it. Lego will follow it up in May with extra packs of character minifigs for $4 a pop. Mr. Burns? Groundskeeper Willie? Please, oh please let them release a Monorail expansion. Monorail!
