Paula Patton isn't sulking at home over her breakup to longtime love Robin Thicke.

The newly separated star arrived at LAX Wednesday morning from Vancouver, where she is shooting her new film, "Warcraft." The actress, sporting a faux fur black vest, jeans, and oversized sunglasses, was not wearing her wedding ring as she flashed a big smile and seemed cheerful for photographers.

Patton, 38, and Thicke, 36, announced their separation in a joint statement Monday. "We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time." The high school sweethearts, who have been married eight years, have a 4-year-old son together, Julian Fuego Thicke. They have not disclosed any plans to divorce.

("Entertainment Tonight" reported Thursday that Julian, along with Patton's mother and personal assistant, were involved in a minor accident in Paula's black Range Rover while being followed by paparazzi on Sunset Boulevard in L.A.)

Thicke canceled three dates on his popular tour this past week — he was a no-show in Atlanta on Friday, in Orlando on Saturday, and in North Carolina on Tuesday. He has been taking the time off to try to woo back Patton, having even flown to Vancouver to talk with her in person. One estimate has him losing $500,000 as a result of the cancellations.

"I'm just trying to get her back," he told a TMZ camera crew upon landing in Washington, D.C., on Thursday as he resumed his tour.

On Wednesday, he took to his website to share a message with fans: "I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days," his statement read. "My fans mean everything to me. I'm looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing [for] the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!"
