Remember the classic '80s Star Wars arcade game that rendered the pulse-pounding chase down the Death Star trench in then-astounding 3D vector graphics? 'Le Chuck,' a regular on the gaming-homebrew website Arcade Controls, certainly does, and decided to bring the experience back to life — micro-style.

The product of 80 hours worth of effort, the 1:6 scale reproduction contains a fully playable version of the game (running off the 'MAME' arcade-emulation engine) and includes a hand-crafted aluminum yoke for maximum control. Luke may be able to turn off his targeting computer and rely on the Force, but we non-Jedis need all the help we can get.

In today's age of iPhones and PS Vitas, it might not seem so impressive to be able to replicate a 1983 game on a miniature scale. But this diminutive cabinet features an old-school craftsmanship and attention to detail that are hard to dismiss.
