Everyone's getting in on the social games act these days. Even Jimmy Buffett.

Margaritaville Online is now officially kicking back on Facebook and iPad, bringing Buffett's beachy message of cheeseburgers and tropical hangouts to Parrotheads the world over.

"The Margaritaville laidback state of mind is inherently social, and this game has captured the spirit of that lifestyle," said Buffett, who added that "fans across the globe can party together any time and any place."

Created by Exploding Barrel Games and published by THQ, the game lets players mill about in a lush island paradise while customizing bars, making drinks, and getting into "exotic adventures," presumably because they've been making too many drinks. And of course, they'll be doing all this to strains of Jimmy Buffett while earning coins to spend on stuff.

An odd fit? Seems like it, though Buffett's hardly the only celeb getting in on the Facebook gaming craze. Pop queen Lady gaga teamed up with Farmville creators Zynga for GagaVille, a farm inspired by the fashionably challenged chanteuse. And fans of John Belushi, Elvis and even Dick Clark can play with their virtual avatars in the recently released celeb game 'Retro World.'
